A branding solution for a startup focused on applied research and generating business from its research results
Branding for an atypical startup
Graphene is a two-dimensional material comprising a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal structure. It is the thinnest, strongest, and most conductive material known. Graphene has several unique properties that make it a promising material for a wide range of applications. Although it is still under development, it has the potential to revolutionize several industries.
Atypical is a startup focused on research and business development on graphene and its uses, which will be transformed into businesses within this ecosystem. Investors will be able to set up companies based on the research developed. I worked on developing the startup's identity to convey simplicity and versatility, as well as ideas that represent the company's ideals.

Key Points
I worked on the branding of a high-tech graphene research company whose main ambition is to leverage research and business based on graphene, a material with the potential to revolutionize several industries. The challenge was to create a strong and straightforward brand with ideas of adaptability and the future. Tech startups face a highly competitive market where it is increasingly difficult to stand out. Visual identity is a central tool for a startup to differentiate itself and attract public attention.
What I Learned
The biggest challenge in developing the brand identity of a tech startup is creating a memorable, relevant, and scalable brand. My biggest challenge was translating the values and ideas of a company that operates in an area that is as specific as it is little explored, and I loved the challenge. The Atypical brand is robust, scalable, simple, and memorable.
