Abstract, iconographic, and narrative: the power of abstraction as a narrative element
Motion Design to advertise a book
I have always loved metaphors and iconography, mainly when applied to synthesize a complex idea or concept. Whenever possible, I try to add some level of abstraction to my pieces, as I did in this work. When used in a narrative, everything becomes even more enjoyable. The concept of the video revolves around the abstraction of forms that arise from letters, giving life to the narrative plot of the book.
The objective is to invite the reader to get to know the book, which, by the way, is very interesting! Besides creating the animation script, I was responsible for all production details—animations, composition, and soundtrack editing.

Key Points
In this job, I developed an animation to promote a book—or rather, the idea behind the book. Using a combination of iconographic references, the animations present a bit about the story without revealing too much about the plot. The challenge was balancing abstraction with clarity.
What I Learned
One of the biggest takeaways was working again with MoGraph, Cinema 4D's procedural modeling and animation toolkit. For motion graphics artists, Cinema 4D remains the application of choice—MoGraph is a big reason why.
