A classic revisited: low-poly modeling for an augmented reality mobile game
Low-poly modeling for mobile game
Many mobile application and game development companies do not have enough money to hire professionals with knowledge about 3D content creation. In this context, I worked for many years producing content for games and helping countless companies. Besides modeling and texturing, I also offered services like rigging and animations.
I created a low-polygon-density version of the Bone Shaker, the classic Hot Wheels model, for an augmented reality (AR) game produced by Intuitive Appz for Mattel. The need for a low-polygon-count model was an exciting challenge, but considering the limitations, the result was super cool!

Key Points
I have produced game content for many years. In this case, I created a low-poly version of one of the most famous models from Mattel's Hot Wheels series, which was used to produce an augmented reality game. This was when AR technology was starting to become popular in Brazil!
What I Learned
The main challenge was to create something with minimal polygons for AR. Mobile devices had much lower processing power then, and texture baking was tricky.
